Setting Boundaries, Empowers Decisions

Setting Boundaries, Empowers Decisions

Happy New Year Spotlighters!

We’ve been listening to so many podcasts this year. On our walks with our dogs, while we do the dishes, driving to random places, or even sneaking them in during the workday (shh!).

Recently we stumbled upon one of our favorites Ten Percent Happier - where Dan Harris interviewed Nedra Tawwab on the topic of setting boundaries. She categorizes them into different types:

  • Porous

  • Rigid

  • Healthy

As we wrap up 2021, we wanted to end with a small ask. We hope that in this year where you’ve likely taken on more work, more caregiving responsibilities, more of everything, that you try to carve out a few moments to think about what kind of boundaries you would like to have in the coming year while reflecting upon what worked and what didn’t work in the previous one. We look forward to sharing ideas and growing our community in 2022 and wish all of you the best.
